The staff of PortConMaine enjoy events and are involved in several other gatherings that are associated with PortConMaine. Here are the events we run:
Current Events:
- Cosplay Winter Ball: Run once a year since 2014, this is a charity fundraiser ball for cosplayers.
- Nor’Geekster: A winter craft fair like no other! Run during the holidays at our Maine Mall space since 2017!
- Flea Market: A giant yard sale style event. Run during May at our Mall Space since 2017.
Previous Events:
- Maine Boffer Games: Run from 2009 through 2015- Maine Boffer Games was an 18+ outdoor weekend long celebration of Boff, Nerf, Laser Tag, and more held in Limington, Maine.
- Steampunk Affair: Run in 2010 and 2011- the Steampunk Affair was an evening of fine dining, dancing, games, and costumes all related to Steampunk. It was run in November.
- Level Up Maine: A 24 hour charity event with a family game festival and an overnight video game marathon– all for The Barbara Bush Children’s Miracle Network! Formally two events: The Southern Maine Family Game Festival & Extra Life Marathon.
