Magical Lee
Lee, also known as Magical Lee, is an LGBTQ+ cosplayer from upstate New York. He is
honored to be visiting PortCon Maine for the first time as a judge for the cosplay contest! This
long time nerd is an experienced competitor, contest judge, event host, panelist, and content
creator. Performance and foam crafting are his forte. His cosplays derive from wherever his heart
takes him, whether it be anime, video games, or D&D related media. He also enjoys utilizing
cosplay to fundraise for charities such as The Trevor Project and St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
It is Lee’s dearest passion to share the magic of cosplay – to entertain, to create, to educate, and to
have fun! He upholds that in the world of cosplay, everyone is welcome and anyone can be
anything they dream to be.

AshleyIsALot
AshleyIsALot is a NY based cosplayer, prop builder, gamer, and content creator. She has experience competing and judging in numerous cosplay contests along the east coast. She loves creating larger than life props and challenging herself to learn new skills for each cosplay build. Ashley is best known for her video game based characters, combining her passion for gaming and cosplay.
Her favorite thing about the cosplay community now is how inclusive and helpful it is. She wants to do her part in maintaining that and helping new people get into the hobby she loves. The Ashleyisalot name comes from years of being told she is “a lot” or “too much.” A trait that the cosplay community has welcomed.

Ace
Ace is a big anime nerd, designing and fabricating characters from their favorite Anime and games! Their practice focuses on incorporating lace, trims, and patterns to bring extravagant creations of fantasy into this reality. Ace’s inspiration often stems from past decades of fashion; flirtatious and ornamental like Rococo paintings. Having a background in illustration, and a BFA in textiles and fashion, they sew and create because they love the sound of the machine, learning new techniques, watching as details grow from small ideas to elaborate designs and a love to share and inspire in the cosplay community!

Fuwafuwanwan
Fuwafuwanwan has been making costumes since 2013. They apprenticed at the Maine State Music Theatre and formally trained in bespoke tailoring at the University of the Arts London, but are primarily self-taught. Fuwafuwanwan’s specialties are silk painting, tailoring, and detailed hand work. They most enjoy bringing historically inspired builds to life, especially those incorporating east Asian elements. They grew up attending Portcon throughout their teen years and are excited to be back as a judge!
