Idea for new Convention in Bangor?

For those who don't already know, Bangor is in the process of building a new Arena and Convention Center that is scheduled to be completed around midsummer of 2013.  My idea is to try to get a convention started, maybe sometime in either the late summer or early fall as to not interfere with PortCon!  Now the question is...  would anyone else be interested in seeing this happen?

The Bangor area already has BangPop and SnowCon (both run by the same organization). I'd suggest talking to them about your ideas.

I think he was just asking if anyone would be interested in a convention, not whom he should talk to get it going.

As for me, I would definitely be interested!

I heard Animaine wants to try and move around the state for future cons, they could probably come up to Bangor in the future.
