Thanks to all my Gamers and Staff
« on: June 26, 2012, 12:20:22 PM »
Just wanted to say thanks for another great year at Portcon.  Staff, as usual, you all rocked. Thanks Jacqui and Eric.

The people I had the honor of having in my game were AWESOME! The conversations, ideas and amazing rolls through all my games made it worth it.

So to all who played in Thundarr (There goes his pants), Zombie Apocalypse (How will you use that Fear Die?), Wall-e (How do bots define freedom?), League of Remarkable Scoundrels (Why is this Golden Beetle chasing me, Good Chap? or Where did the Queen go?), Waterworld (Is the gate closed yet?), and Unknown Armies (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SOLwIwRw8O4 Ro-Man is a little more philosophical then ours) thank you for a group of amazing games.  With new and old gamers and friends it was a great year to be a GM.

I had to make sure the gate was closed.  It seemed to be the most important thing at the time.  LOL

Yes thanks to everyone who made my games a blast to play and those that were fun to play.  I will never forgot my star wars game for as long as I live.  "Are you sure you wish to plot a course through a possible electromagnetic field?"  Player responds with, "yes".  Classic. :)

Double Thanks to JacQ and Eric for making everything that much better.  As always, I am king of the Mole Men.

Because of that game, I am now downloading the complete Thundar series to watch.  I am also trying to figure out what the damage is from a thrown wand in D&D.

I find it funny that Barbarians in Thundar have Pilot Helicopter as a class skill.  I have only watched the first episode so far.  But I see why my Mok wasn't given any weapons to use.  In the show, Ukla uses a bow in the first round of the first combat against the groundlings ((By the way are they the mole men from your game?)).  But it gets knocked out of his hands and then he just grabs the groundlings by the tails and swings them about.  Leaving his bow and never picking it up again.  LOL

Ahh good times good times.
