A Live chat room for the forum

A lot of forums offer a live irc chat room.
This keeps a lot of random conversation on the threads to a minimum and keeps it specifically for the large scale disscussions.

It would be nice to chat with other PortCon goers before, during and after con days. May make life easier for those looking to split rooms and find rides, etc.

I don't think the forums are active enough to warrant a chat room.  Also, constant moderation by staff would be a problem.

I think something like this would be handy. Well, maybe just a place to live-chat with real staff members in case there are questions that need answering right at that moment...? Hah, I don't see how that would work, either. There's never been much action here on the forums.

Only time there is really alot of people on these forums is a couple days before con and about a week or two after con. It wouldnt get used enough. Cool idea but yeah.
