Resident Evil is still pretty "in," I guess, but since I haven't seen anything about it, I'm going to be doing Jill Valentine from RE1 either Thursday/Saturday or Friday/Sunday

I believe there is a Resident Evil cosplay thread. I'll be Alice from Afterlife in her black jumpsuit one of the days (probably Saturday) and I think someone else is going as Alice from Extinction.

Ultraviolet isn't very popular. I'll be going as Violet one of the days, probably Friday.

My friends and I are getting together our Sengoku Basara cosplays; we're going as Takeda Shingen, Ishida Mitsunari, and Saika Magoichi (Hopefully we can finish them in time DX). It's a shame; it's a great game/series, but it's not very popular here whereas in Japan it's really well known. :I

I don't even know if anyone attending Portcon has seen/knows about The Devil's Carnival

I'm just hoping the design and construction of the outfit will be nice enough to at least be noticed or liked :/

I'm going as a popular, well known character; Rosalina from Mario Galaxy. But as far as Rosalina cosplayers go, they seem to be pretty scarce so I'm pretty excited about it. My gown is almost complete. :D
