Alrighty alrighty, so I'll be running the Dating Game panel this year :] As your host!

WHEN: Unfortunately our event is going to be at the very tail end of the convention, but for any of you that are still kickin' around, it will take place SUNDAY AT 3 - 5 PM

WHERE: In the TENT!

WHAT IS IT?: The Anime Dating Game consists of three lucky contestants from an Anime/Manga/Other geeky fandom series that are competing to win the heart of one bachelor or bachelorette! (Also from an Anime/Manga/Geeky fandom series etc!)

In traditional Dating Game style, the bachelor or bachelorette in the limelight will ask a series of questions to the contestants behind a curtain, to determine which person he or she will choose for a date! Questions can pretty much be anything the lady or gentleman would like to know, and contestants answer in character to their best ability in order to win.

The contestants and bachelor/bachelorettes will be chosen before the convention and will have no idea who will be on the other side of the curtain.

The Anime Dating Game will be broken in to three categories which will be as follows:
-Hetero Round! Contestants will be the opposite sex of the Bachelor/Bachelorette.
-Yaoi/Gay/Shounen-ai Round! Contestants will be male as well as the bachelor.
-Yuri/Lesbian/Shoujo-ai Round! Contestants will be female as well as the bachelorette.

NOTE: I do include "geeky fandom" in what is accepted for the dating game since I know that more than just Anime/Manga is very popular right now with the nerdy crowd! So things like Homestuck, Doctor Who, Ponies, Comic series, American television series, etc will totally be accepted.

I don't see why not, as long as you're not needed at the block of time 8D! My friend applied and is VG room staff.

I might apply. As a staffer, I only have so many hours to play with. Until I find out just how many hours I have to fill my itinerary, I'll hold off. Probably gonna apply for the yaoi portion, anyhow. Needs more actual men in the category anyway.

Well, we're pretty much one of the last major panel of the con. So as long as you could get sunday from 3-5 off, you'd be set.
