Costume question

So, I am going to be making a costume that has a pauldron with some spikes on it and I am thinking about using Sculpey to make them. Is this alright in terms of the weapons/props policy. I didn't see anything about it so I decided to ask. Better to know now then spend hours on it and find out when I get there. Thanks in advance! ^_^

Neph will have the final say but if you leave the ends more rounded and they are under 3 inches i think it will be ok. 

Is this for the inquisitor?  im wondering will be more a witch hunter inquisitor then imperial guard.

Why yes it is for my inquisitor. I was thinking of going as Ordos Hereticus at one point Im not sure if I am going to make a pauldron. I do like the idea of having one and I think it would look awesome but Im not sure if I have the time or not... guess I will have to see how long it will take me to make the rest of my costumes and what not.
