I was thinking it could be something along the lines of cast Q+A like Katsucon.
I would be really happy to try this if I had somebody who could help.
I've been to plenty of cons before, but never have I run a panel/been in one.
Maybe we should try to open some form of auditions for the planning stage.
Just to get names and characters filled in if we are to do a character Q+A.
I would be really happy to be Eridan for a panel (if we end up going with the idea).

Heck yes! Like I said, I would have NO idea what I'm doing...but I'd be willing to help if I can! I've done a ton of Terezi voice acting, and I plan on cosplaying her at Portcon, sooooo...I guess I'd be interested in going for her? 

(Should we move this to the panel planning part of the forum if we're going to be serious about it?)

I love this idea. I've decided to bring both Jade and Roxy, so now I have a whole cosplay I need to schedule in yaaaaay.

I wouldn't be opposed to hosting or cohosting a panel like this. I've never done one before, but there's a first for everything! I'm extremely organized and I secretly love menial tasking and administrative duties.

I've been watching videos from the Bucket Full Of Homestuck from Anime USA and Ask A Homestuck from Katsucon and it seems really fun! If we do end up doing a panel like that, I'd be more than happy to be Dave, along with helping out in organizing in any way that I can o:!

It seems that we have enough people willing to help.
The only thing I'm concerned about is demand.
I'm a worry-wart, and before we get ahead of ourselves...
Do you guys think that we would have enough demand for a panel?

I am making the thread right now, even though I have no idea for the panel name.
I think FB would be good, since its so big and we'd get a variety. Post the poll there (?)
Once I finish with the thread then the conversation may continue there.

My cosplay plans have been increased, btw. Thought I might update.
I will be cosplaying Eridan, Quest of The Highbloods!Mindfang, Bec Blanche, Rose and Dave.
I have a lot of costumes... o u o

Edit1; I'm going to assume (for now) that miitchan is Jade (trying to fill all betas before alphas), Afina is Terezi, and Dude Like Yo is Dave. I can always change the character list on the forum.

Hey Turntablez.
As I told you on Deviantart forums are fairly self explanatory.
I have no real tips, but you're using it correctly at the moment.

As we all know the panel thread is up and the event application sent.
I would just like to thank everyone real quick before we move to the thread.
If you have any concerns/ideas that you have its important to comment there.

Sorry to be a dominatrix on this thread, but perhaps we should come up with meetup times?
Since Homestuck is so big there should be a meet every day (or at least two days).
I was thinking maybe 12:00 to 1:00 for each day? I'm unsure of where would be good, though.
The time might change before the actual con (just to make sure the panel time is good).

I think somebody, other than me, should take charge of the meetups/photoshoots.
I wouldn't mind being a back-stationed helper/organizer. (right hand man)
I love organizing things (even though I get super nervous about it).
Another reason is because I dunno if I'm going all days, so... yeah.

Anybody think they could take control when it comes to meetups?

Meetups on each day (or even on just two days) sounds like a good idea! Especially since people have other meetups, and if they miss one they can just go to another on a different day. And Homestuck cosplay has been a big majority at cons, so maybe this way the groups won't be so big and clustered. Noon also sounds good, since not much usually happens around that time.

Unfortunately I have a meetup on Saturday around noon already, and I might possibly have one on Sunday around that time. If we end up having a meetup on Friday, I'd be happy to try and take charge of it, unless there's someone who wants to and can go to more of the meetups.

I don't have a place in idea quite yet...
I've only been to Portcon once before, so I wouldn't know whereto have it.

Perhaps we could work together on Friday. : )
T'would be quite fun to work together on it.

As for Saturday and Sunday I'm unsure if I'll be going both those days.
I'm hoping to be able to go all days, but that has yet to be seen.
