Yay! I got my plaid Amy shirt today but it's slightly different than the photo showed I'm a little sad but hopefully it's not noticeable from more than arms length away, because it looked like nearly an exact match online.

So, yes, I will be going as River Song (in her jeans and jean jacket outfit from one of the America episodes). I ordered a wig off of eBay on Sunday (since I didn't find one at iParty) and it got shipped on Monday. It should be here tomorrow or Thursday since it had free expedited shipping. It's pretty close in color and I'm going to try to brush it out a bit to make it a little longer since it's shorter because the curls are somewhat tighter than her curls.

I don't have a holster, but I bought a brown belt to wear at least. I could probably get a cheap toy gun like her gun too, but only if I feel like it basically.

Yeah, when I was deciding if I wanted to cosplay as River or not, I basically checked to see if she had a simple outfit I could put together and this one was the simplest for the most part. At the time, I was going to be making a cosplay of a different character from scratch which is why I needed a simple one for River, but then I procrastinated too long on making the one from scratch and it's not even happening anyway (will wait until next year). lol.
At least I have River and another cosplay still though, and I usually only go on Friday and Saturday anyway.
