Is anyone else from PortCon going to be playing? I'm starting up a guild and it would be awesome to have some PortCon goers in it. The link in my sig is to my guild page. Don't be afraid to pm me if you're interested.

I'll be playing Sith Empire with the Glastons

http://www.swtor.com/guilds/142105/glastons

We got background and stuff!

Quote
Towards the end of the Great Hyperspace War, our glorious Emperor foresaw the destruction of the then current Sith Empire. He led those who had the strength to continue to a place far from the weakness that had corrupted the Empire to rebuild what had been burned to ash. One of the first planets to be settled was Glaston an agricultural world slated to feed the Empire. For many years the populace of Glaston, comprised of many different species, worked proudly , knowing the importance of their work in rebuilding the Empire. Those from Glaston watched out for each other, knowing that the Sith Lords wouldn't, and over time this became something of a code and saying amongst fellow Glastons. "Glastons First, the Empire second, and the rest ******" Being so far removed from the hub, the Glastons came to accept any into their cadre who would adhere to this code.

Centuries ago some of the Sith Lords sought to usurp the Emperor, and he called for those loyal to him to rally to his side. All of Glaston did, forming some of the Emperor’s most loyal forces. In retaliation the rebelling Sith Lords bombarded Glaston from orbit, devastating the planet's surface and making it nothing more than a desolate rock floating in space. After the uprising and when the time came to punish those involved in the destruction of Glaston, the Dark Council intervened and saved most of the noble class that was involved. A strong dislike and distrust of Sith Lords, The Dark Council and those of the upper ranks of Empire society stemmed from this. Though the rest of the Empire may have forgotten this slight but the Glastons have not. Their rancor and sharp tongues oft leave them as outcasts even today.

Over the centuries since the destruction of Glaston Prime, the surviving Glastons have taken various routs, and have done what they could to meek out a survival. And over the span of time the way of Glaston has become a code of honor and a subculture among the scattered remnants, and still to this day will gather to heed the call of the Emperor in time of need. Glastons still see "Glaston first," but are among some of the Empire's most loyal defenders.

We are Glastons.
Scattered throughout space we may be now, but the call has gone out.
Gather together, and make ready.
The Empire calls on us again.

We are the common folk, fighting for the glory of the Empire and the Emperor. The Sith nobility is weak, having spent too many years as pampered lord lings. Satisfied with the power they have, they have forgot what it takes to grow in strength. The Empire must grow in power, not just the few lords at the top. That is the way of the Sith. We Glastons will show them the true Sith way.

We're an old guild, started back in the beginning of Dark ages of Camelot Nimue server. Since then we've seen many worlds and been many things from Pirates, to Protectors. Here again we are going to attempt to revisit our pig farmer roots from Glastonbury Irregular days, and give it a Sith twist. Please feel free to contact via PM or on our site at http://laughinglion.org/ if you are interested in joining us for this venture.

If you do wanna check us out poke me here so I can activate your account on the forums over there.  Also, ignore just about anything Hellion says.

Yeah, I'm playing SWTOR for the time being. I play Jedi Shadow and Mercenary BH atm, but I'm not sure if I plan to continue playing the game. It's not because the game is bad, but rather that I really need to step away from MMOs for a while.

If you do cancel your subscription, make sure that, under the reason why, write that you canceled it because EA supports SOPA, wether you care or not.  If enough people stop handing them money, they'll get the message.

I've decided I am going to stop playing for a while. I'll say that I won't play the game because EA supports SOPA because I completely disagree with the bill too. :)

I am not getting the game until April 3rd, or around that week.  I will be starting with a Sith Bounty Hunter for a while then play a Jedi on the light side later.  I will join your folks Sith Guild if you want.  My Bounty Hunter is basically going to be anti Jedi.  Killing Jedi and Sith alike.
-Shane

P.S-I have not played MMOS before.  What is SOPA?  I want to join the Hate Train.

Wow, I forgot I posted this. I mainly play Republic, but I recently took an interest in SI, so if you're still playing, ragabash, I think I may be interested. I'm assuming RP server?

Rubat Crystal RP server.  Our guild is pretty strictly 18+ as we have a few elements who don't always act their age, especially with 1.2 looming.

Look for Kriel (Rags) or Mildred (me).

How much comp space does the game take up? I've thought about getting this game since I loved both KOTORs
