I got my 20 side die and ready to roll
« on: October 10, 2011, 08:53:57 PM »
Yeah thats right. I started playing D&D.
I love it.
It's just great!
I love my character so much! She's wonderful.
I run a duel classing rouge/ranger elf.
And she has girl moments with my DM's character.
But the best thing I love about her?
She jumps out of windows and ninja's her way down trees with such ease.
And she will randomly climb trees just to keep her strength and all that stuff up while everyone else is in town.
Or she'll go pick-pocket. XD
Any way's, enough rambling about her.
I was just wondering how many others here play D&D.
Tell me about your favorite character. =]

Ah yes my favorite character was actually from my husband's game.

His name was Gwendovere a very very gay flamboyant elf. Rogue/Avenging executioner since in the beginning of the game he looked in a mirror that was enchanted and cause his beautiful face to become disfigured.
Yes so many people got "tail" this year thanks to me. I should get some sort of prize right?

I have been playing RPGs fpr 30 years but I have not played D&D for many years. My favorite D&D character I ever had was Bjorn the Funky Groovahoovian, a minotaur percussionist bard.  He was a blast to play.

I grew up surrounded by D&D, since my dad was heavily into it in college and into adulthood. Once he stopped having time for it, I was allowed to 'borrow' all of his books since I was 14 (20 now). Only recently have I played more recent generations (so confusing!!) because I always had 1st and 2nd gen books.

I know the password to all of my parents stuff, because I know their all-powerful Dwarven God characters name. My dad came up with him before I was born, and used him all of the time, so in memorial some form of his name is the password to all of their... everything. Oh, and he has a FB page. XD

Well I have two favorite characters.
First one is Daimien my Half Devil Chaotic Good Barbarian. And yes I said Half Devil, I have the Devil's Players Handbook. And yes he was Chaotic Good, it states in the book that if you play a Devil he can be good, like a repentant soul or something. My favorite moment with him was when my group was attacked by a wizard in a field and the wizard cast Darkness on us. Now it seems my character had a perk from his lineage is that he could see in Magical Darkness. So the DM was having the wizard taught us and stuff like that, I had my character literally walk to the edge of the Darkness where the wizard was and grab him by the throat and puke his head out of the darkness and say "Gotcha". The DM actually rolled to see if the wizard peed himself, he did. I should also mention my barbarian was 7 feet tall and the wizard was like 5'5". Any he throw the wizard like 20 feet away and rounded up his party and got everyone out of the darkness. We started to battle the wizard cast fireball on my character. So everyone rolled a dodge roll, I didn't roll anything cause well my guy was also fireproof. So he took the full fireball and just glared at the wizard and said "Ok now you starting to annoy me". The encounter ended with the wizard running away.
Second one was Rock, my Half Giant Chaotic Neutral Barbarian/ War hulk. His strength normal not raging was 40. The War hulk class has a lovely class trait where your to hit bonus doesn't go up every level, your strength goes up by 2 every level. The whole adventure with him was great. Started out as a privateer then ended up laying siege to a castle, went to Hell and killed a demon. He got a dire lion pelt, helped a Ranger get two dire lion cubs as companions, children of the dire lion he killed in self defense. Also he was the siege weapon for the ship and when attacking the castle.
Dear internet,
If I don't know you, we've never met face to face. I don't care what you think of me. Infact even if we've met face to face. Unless I want to date you I don't care what you think of me. So you can try to piss me off all you want just don't be offended when I just start laughing.

Think I'll always love Leone the most. An escaped Kobald tunnel rat with a MAJOR case of Napoleon syndrome. Always hung around with a half Orc fighter. After he got the girdle of Cloud Giant strength it was a laugh a minute. Whenever he threw something heave like a catapult where he was standing would have to save or give way under all that weight in such a small space. Frequently he'd wind up a floor lower or having to be dug out of the ground. Just such a riot to have him smash things so he could reach something over 4 feet high. He also had the bad habit of kicking in the equivalent of a doggy door when he couldn't reach a handle easy enough. for reasons I would rather not think about his accent was strangely close to someone form the Bronx.
