This is my kitten Themis

now, I know it's probably kinda weird to start talking about pets on an anime forum and whatnot ... but for me it's different. it's been four years since I've had a pet, and nothing on this earth could compare to her. She was my dog Dakota, any of my friends have heard me talk about her before. She lived for 17 years and was legendary. but in that four years since she was put down after major tumors, and I honestly haven't been in the mood to have another animal (mourning period)

So, flash forward a few years, and my Sister's cat has kittens, and I realize how lonely it is here in my apartment. I'm not the biggest cat fan, but she's certainly starting to grow on me. super energetic and somewhat tired (like all 6 week olds) and I couldn't be happier...


Anyways, more to my point and less about 1my kitten, what about you... what kinda pets do you have/have had?

I have a cat, his name is Carl. He is actually my first pet that I have had while living on my own. He is a trouble maker, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

I use to have a rottweiler name Brandi, but she was put down in 2003. After a couple months and after moving into my new place, I got a new dog, she's an Akita and her name is Jada. She's a wonderful dog and I love her, but I miss my Brandi. She was my first dog, and was the person I got to grow up with. She was my best friend.
Now I have a snake. =D She's wonderful! I'm fairly sure she's about 2 years old, almost 3.
Her name is Snaky Kafusu, and she's a ball python.

._. I love pets... A lot... I've fostered nine 1 day old bunnies for 2 months, with their mother, this summer I fostered 9 baby rats with their mother, and if you can't tell, have worked at a pet store. I fostered these all while having 5 rabbits, 3 betta fish, 2 dogs, and a skinny pig (hairless guinea pig), and a hamster. Now I have 4 rabbits, 2 dogs, a betta fish, and a skinny pig. :D ... In case you're wondering... The rabbits actually have their own finished off room in my house because they're so epic. I love themmm... I had a bunny named Momiji for obvious reasons (lawl, fruits basket). But yes... :D I LOVE ANIMALS. ^__^

I've got a cat named Midget...who weighs about 13lbs.  The name did fit her when I got her...
