New Years Resolutions (Portcon 2012 Edition)

After Portcon, I've decided there's a few things I NEED to do for next year.  What better place to list them than here, so if I don't follow through, I have all of YOU to answer to!

Pre-Con 

Anime:  I want to make sure I watch a lot more anime during the next year. 
Cosplay:  Damnit, I will Cosplay SOMETHING next year.

At Con

Gaming:  I WILL play some CCG's and some Board games next year.  I never set aside the time and I regret that. 
Run a panel:  Not sure about what, but I REALLY want to run a panel now. 

Anyone else have things they regret not doing?

Post-Con...

I WILL hang out with my friends from the Con and Staff. NO MORE once-a-year friends!!


Next Year:

I will play more mahjong
I will have my flutterguy costume salvaged, repaired, and perfected

Pre-Con
Anime: Watch more mainstream stuff. I feel like such a hipster sometimes!
Manga: Buy more and read more. All my money keeps going to doujins!
Cosplay: Bigger and better. I improved a lot last year, let's keep the ball rolling on it!

At Con
Panels: Improve the Yuri Panel and make it more awesome than ever. Also, be very clear that it is a PG-13 event and badges don't need stamps. Also, maybe do a panel about obscure and/or recent anime that people may not have heard of.
Gaming: Play Apples to Apples and/or Cards Against Humanity at least once
Other: Sleep BEFORE the con, so I don't feel dead by ten.

At con:
Will stay well rested and hang out with people i dont get to see all year

I will watch more anime, read more manga, register my panel to run sooner, and help my son make his first costume!

Precon: do not fall into the trap of 'finals means no time for exercise but plenty of time for eating'.

Pre-con;
*Planning to do an EXTRAVAGANT cosplay. Something you would see out of a magazine, so I'm gonna start early!
*Make sure I get my driver's license so mom doesn't have to deal with carpooling my friends everywhere. She's exhausted now  (their parents refuse to drive them ANYWHERE. Not even my house which is less than 5-10 minutes away >_> )
*Make sure I invite the right people next year. One person in our group flipped just because she didn't get a plushie and wouldn't stop begging everyone in our group for extra cash   
*Pre-reg of course :D

At the con;
*Don't miss the internet sing-along panel again
*Go cruise Toys-R-Us in costume (and the Mall again! That was fun  )
*Buy something from the artists alley/feature something in the community art sale
*Attend PortProm in formal attire :D

At-
do another zombie panel.
eat more real food.

Get Gorillapod tripod for my camera
Get bigger memory card! Much bigger.
Spare battery too.

Con:
Take more pictures!
Take more video!

1. Bring a camera with plenty of memory.
2. Get a better laptop thatI can use for panels and doesn't crap out.
3. Save more money to spend!
4. Not hurt myself. I somehow manage to do this EVERY YEAR.

Actually make time to watch anime.

Buy new fluffies and practice some intense zombie make up.

At the con:
Actually go to some panels! I always regret not going to any.
Maybe get a room so I don't have to drive from Yarmouth to SoPo and get crappy parking.
I'll be 18 so I can finally go to the 18+ ones! WOOO

- I will make friends next year! I actually TALKED to people this year and went outside my shyness! But now I must make friends!
- I shall improve my video making skills and enter in something AMAZING.
- I will make an awesome Fallout 3 cosplay for next year.
- I will learn to play Magic and D&D, and actually do good in Munchkin.
- I'll take pictures for once.

Yes those are what I need to do!
