How do you get ready day before the convention?

Normally I'd say....pack, fix any last minute items......and sadly in my situation apparently deal with the friend who committed to you about going, where now I can't reach him for days and don't have a clue what's going. sigh......

I set up everything I'm going to be wearing for the week. Prom outfits for me and the boys; costumes and all accessories; techno dance outfit for me. Pack everything me and the boys will need for the weekend into the diaper bag. Withdraw cash. Read manga that my character is from.

This year: Making sure my husband remembers to print off the picture I'll need for the craftsmanship judging.

And, of course, panic.

I commute each day (or at least I did last year and have to do this year 'cause my bf and I have no money for a room and driving is cheaper), so I don't exactly need to worry about packing everything for the weekend. But each evening before commuting the next day, I need to make sure I have everything for the cosplays I'll be wearing with their respective accessories/wigs (was easy last year because I only had one outfit per day, but now I have one or two for Friday and two for Saturday. Make sure I have my wallet (with money), my camera (with working batteries), my car charger for my phone in case it wants to die, and extra batteries for the camera just in case.

I only have one cosplay this year that needs a wig! Thank God...my head hurts and itches after wearing a wig cap and wig too long.

That's why I've found cosplays that don't need wigs. I have a horrible reaction to them.
