Shirt Policy?
« on: June 19, 2011, 06:02:36 PM »
Hey, I wanted to ask about something that I've had some confusion over. I was wondering what the ruling is for a male cosplayer not wearing a shirt to the convention. I've seen several people not wearing shirts over the years (Pyramid Head last year most notably) but I've also heard of others being asked to put one on. During the rave I myself was asked to put my shirt back on (which may be due to everyone being in close proximity, sweating heavily, etcetera..)but again there were several others that I was even standing next to that weren't as much as spoken to. There in lies most of the confusion.

So which is it? Would I be required to wear a shirt?
It'd be great if I didn't have to, working better with my cosplay.
But if I have to, I'll make it work otherwise.

I will NEVER go topless (hello I be GURL) but for those who have shirtless cosplays what about the outside for photos would that be alright? I would like to take pictures of a shirtless Pyramid Head if there is one this year.

Outside is not in with the food, so it MIGHT be okay, especially if it is just for a few pictures.  Just don't be surprised if you get asked to put a shirt on.
