PortProm 2011
« on: June 15, 2011, 08:42:56 PM »
So it wasn't until a few minutes ago that I remembered that when one pre-registers also comes the fact that they can go to ProtProm on Thursday night. And seeing that since it doesn't look like anyone else has posted anything about this event, I was wondering what everyone was doing for it~ *Rushes off to find an idea for costume*

So who's planning on going? And if you are, will you cosplay or not? (If so, as who?) Are you doing a couple cosplay, or going stag with friends?~

I saw that and got really excited. I only hope I won't be OVER dressed....I mean what's exactly the dress code?

My plan was to do my "Formal" Asuka Cosplay that I also did for AB'11 Formal Dance, just hope it won't be too much. Really excited though because it came out realllly nice (as partially seen in my icon..hehe). I'm hoping to convince my friend to come as Shinji for this....he just doesn't know about it yet. LOL Does anyone know how hot it gets in that tent? ^_^

Can't wait to see everyone dressed up!!
First PCM 2011!! Super Excited!

Cosplays:

Asuka - Evangelion
Kairi - Kingdom Hearts 2
Eureka - Eureka Seven
Robin - Witch Hunter Robin

How have they been in previous years? I haven't attended in spite of being there on thursday due to not wanting to bother bringing semi/formal clothes... *never has time to cosplay*

I'm not a huge people person, but I'm probably gonna try to be a little more social this year, and this sounds hella more interesting to me than the techno dance party, which I read as "Headache Deafening Overheat"

I've been the past few years. You really don't have to worry too much about the dress, because there's always some people who are just in regular cosplay, some people in massive formal stuff, some people in semi-formal stuff. Just don't show up in like, jeans and a tank top (although I've seen someone where jeans to it before XD I don't think they were supposed to)

I had fun at the dance both years in a row. I'm gonna be Roxas and wearing a black and white dress with my Organization XIII coat over it, but not zipped.

Don't worry about over dressing. ^_^ It can't be done! I've gone in ball gowns, prom dresses and evening gowns. ^_^ I don't know what I'll be wearing this year. I'm sure whatever you wear it will be fine. ^_^ It's pretty much dress casual/cosplay and up...

I'll probably go this year, in my Lavi cosplay.  Since the Black Order only has one "uniform" for Exorcists it'll counts as the dress and standard uniform.
'09-no one
'10-red-headed Setsuna F. Seiei
'11-Lavi
'12-Loke(Fairy Tail)/Renzu Shima(Blue Exorcist)
'13-Commander Shepard(Mass Effect)?

I'm being a loser and just wearing a semi-formal dress. Less than semiformal. Like highschool semi-formal dance, semi-formal, haha.

HAWKEYE DRESS UNIFORM: I HAS ONE. (Haven't worn it for years though. My back hates heels... plus it is kind of hot to wear outside in June. I'll probably bring something semiformal.)

I worn my best bear costume, , , and my glasses fogged up.  Couldn't see for crap!  It seemed like everyone had fun since I wasn't escorted out.

Next year I think I'll wear my best Pony costume!
