Days Inn?

Any of you guys staying there? Hopefully. I'd prefer me and my friends aren't the only people there running in and out in weird costumes. Mine is always the weirdest in the group. Haha. ^^;

I have stayed there in the past. The housekeeping staff seems to look forward to seeing all the costumes every year. It is really cool how welcomed we are there.

I stayed there a few years ago and thought it was a great deal. Free breakfast, and it only takes a couple minutes to walk right over.

My friend and I are staying there too!! It's much cheaper this way! Good to hear it's a good place to stay since I wasn't sure, but was very hopeful! ^_^ YAY! Can't wait!!

I stayed there back in '09.

The free breakfast was really nice! The staff were pretty nice too :3

I remember going into the free breakfast with cosplay on, and all the non-con goers were ooohing and ahhing over some of the outfits X3

And I saw on your other post that you're being a Kairi? There's gonna be two Kairis at the Days Inn now! WOO! Yeah, me and my two other friends are doing KH cosplays, and one's a Kairi.

yaaaaaay! Yup we're staying there! Oh that's gonna be awesome to have other KH cosplayers there!!! Granted I have 3 other ones im doing too but still exciting! Are most of u coming on Thursday?  Btw...checkin isn't until 3 pm right? Im guessing they are pretty strict about that. Anything else I need to know as a first timer there? Lol so to avoid a headache! Hehe

I'm doing another cosplay too, so it's okay. I will be there on Thursday - and yes apparently you have to check in 3 or later. Which works since registration at Portcon isn't til 3:30. I'm upset that we have to check out before 11 am - because I /HAVE/ to leave on Sunday night. Which means I'll have to carry my stuff around Portcon ALL DAY on Sunday after I check out of the hotel Sunday morning. D;

This will be my first time at the Days Inn but my third time at Portcon. I've heard lots of good stuff about Days, and it's only like 2 minutes away from the Wyndham. XD

I guess this time around I'm spoiled since I'm driving up there in my car and can just leave my things in there....but that still is a problem. I wonder if they would offer anything like a Baggage Hold. Granted my only experience with that is AB...but there it worked out soo well! But again maybe there will be another place to leave it so you're not stuck carrying it everywhere because that will suck.

yea I heard the same, plus from the Maps it looks like a super short walk...plus comes to shove I guess there is always free parking too! hehe

I don't have my own car yet. ;n; I'm getting dropped off on Thursday and picked up again on Sunday. I am gonna try to probably find some place to be like... "Hey. Can I put my junk here til 6? Kthx." XD

I wear a giant fursuit and staying there.... I don't think you'll be the only strange one there. And there are always TONS of con goers there dressed in who knows what. I stay there ever year, cause you just can't beat free breakfast every morning!

hell no you cant and its good breakfast not cheap stuff either, ill be there for thrusday and friday :3
