Convention guest Christopher Ayres will be running his Mock Combat for Cosplay workshop at PortConMaine.  Everyone is welcome and you do not have to be in costume!  In fact, LARP and Boffa folks looking to put on a good show would enjoy this as much as cosplayers!

This can help you give your cosplay skit or any other performance a little something extra to appear like a good solid fight.  Not only is Christopher Ayres a voice actor, but he's a fight director as well.  If you want to learn the techniques to be safe but give the appearance of a real fight, then join him and have fun in this on-your-feet fight workshop.

The beginner workshop runs from 3pm to 5:30pm on Friday.
The intermediate workshop runs from 12:30pm to 3pm on Sunday.  (This intermediate workshop is ONLY open to those who have taken the beginner workshop on Friday or at another convention with Chris.)

If I knew earlier and knew I could do it. It'd help me with my martial arts. I have a black belt and that'd help me so much with practice.

I'll try to take notes, Nik. ;)  Though I hope he doesn't get too upset if I accidentally spank him for real. ^_^
