Kingdom Hearts Meet-Up

It has been brought to my attention in this thread: http://portconmaine.com/forum/index.php?topic=3237.0, that we have no Kingdom Hearts Panel this year. This will not do, this being my first PCM as the KH character, Terra. In this thread, I have determined we must meet up somewhere. You all know there will be a lot of us KH cosplayers, so it must happen. My solution is the round tables outside of the pool area, the ones surrounded by hedges. Throw me some ideas for times that work with everyone, where panels will be at a low, so that it may fit everyone's criteria.

I'll definitely be there as Aqua. It sounds like a great idea! I can't believe there's no Kingdom Hearts panel.... I was looking so forward to that. We'll just have to make up for it with this idea. If anyone has a camera too they should bring one. It'd be fun to have it all recorded as well.

A meetup sounds awesome, I'll definitely be showing up (possibly with a couple others, I'll have to check in with them). I'll be bringing my flip cam, so I'll be able to record some of it!

I'll prolly rent an expensive cam from Rent-A-Center for the weekend and put my own memory device into it. Won't cost more than $20, if I convince them I'll be keeping it and that it needs to have a lower rental price. I'd say it'd have to be in the middle of the con days, maybe somewhere between noon and three? Just throwing out suggestions.

That sounds good to me, too. I'm not putting a definite end time to it, though.  We might end up having such a blast it could last hours. So far it looks like the consensus is Friday from noon to whenever. All else in favor? :D

Awesome, sounds like we have a big crew. And that's not counting the people who don't attend the forums regularly and the people that have yet to post their KH cosplays. We're gonna have to spread the meeting time to everyone KH who might not have been in on the news. Just look for the Terra at Portcon, I'll be around a lot, and then I'll figure out who hasn't found me and personally HUNT THEM- *ahem* -find them and... "enlighten" them. :D

Yeah, same here. Can't wait. And since it's not a panel, there's no number limit. I remember our Demyx and Saix from the year before couldn't get into the KH panel OR the disney sing-along. Which was disheartening. So I'm excited to see how big of a group we can get.

Friday sounds great. I will be there as either KH 2 Sora or my Hyrule form Sora (I stink at Zelda games but Toon Link is one of my favorite characters in Brawl and I cosplayed him at Portcon 2009, I reused/modified some of the parts from Link).

Also, depending on how these next couple of weeks go, I might be at the meet up as Ienzo. I just need some help getting the wig (I do not trust my dad with ordering stuff online anymore, he doesn't trust any sellers that aren't from America ._.;;. So I might give a friend of mine the money and have her order it. It just depends if we can meet up and have it be shipped in time) and a long enough white coat.
