marvel is already doing a lot of digital comics.  come on japan catch up or market books as old school and trendy
I don't the Japanese publishers have any reason to catch up, since Shonan Jump and hard-copy manga still sell just fine here. Then again, they're one of the only things that's actually cheaper in Japan- at 400 yen (~$4.50?) a pop, it's a much more manageable habit. I agree that Western publishers should jump on the digital trend, though.

And Alice in the Country of Hearts vol. 6 was set for publication last month... It's the only TP manga I was waiting on.
