My RPG Lineup
« on: April 03, 2011, 12:41:15 PM »
Here is my game line up for 2011.  I hope to see many familiar faces at the tables and many new ones as well.

No one needs to know any of these systems to play.  I love to teach people new systems.

Any questions post here or drop me a line iannhoward35@gmail.com

Apocalypse Prevention, Inc.: Ware is the Beast?
Time: Thurs. 8-Mid
Players: 4-6
Description: If Men in Black had a bastard child with Hellboy and left it to be raised by a mixed marriage of World of Darkness and Ghostbusters the child would be Apocalypse Prevention, Inc.

The Chromids have broken through on The Commons while a group of cultists try to raise the remains of a sunken island prison in Western Mass.  You need to stop this trouble, clean up the mess, and make sure no one remembers in the morning and all you really want is a good cup of joe …. Just another day in the life of an API officer.

Godlike: Saigon, 1955
Time: Saturday 4-8
Players: 4-6
Description: Under the Talent National Support Act all registered Talents needed to sign up with the Feds and be ready for recall.  Your squads time has come.  The US isn’t really in Vietnam now but when a Vietcong talent appears the US sends in a covert squad to protect its interests.

Talislanta: A Day at the Races
Time: Saturday 9-1
Players: 4-6
Description: Every 10 years Coltroth of Sinda holds his Decad Treasure Quest.  Your team won a decade ago. Can you keep your title this time?  Ready your spells, fill the windship sales and don’t forget your dimension doors.  The time has come to race again.

L5R: Taking the Dragon Home

Time: Friday 6-10
Players: 4-6
Description: Fang Mountain has been held by the Ten Oni for 100 years.  The Dragon Clan has seen that it is time to free the Home from Fu Leng’s spawn.  The greatest Clan members have come together to bring the Dragon home. This is using 3rd Edition Rules.

Wild Talents: What is the Kerebos Club, Good Sir?
Time: Sunday 10-2
Players: 3-5
Description: Steampunk superheroes in a Victorian London gone Mad!  Come play the Wild Talent rules (same as Godlike) in a Victorian setting of gallant gentlemen and adventuring ladies (not to mention scholarly monkeys and philosophical robots).

Godlike: Breakthrough!
Time: Friday 1-5
Players: 4-6
Description: Our Country Not Ourselves!  That is the slogan of your 30th Infantry Division. It goes through your heads as you charge the German positions on the frozen fields of Colmar.

I totally agree Chris.  We know we are running with the End of Times Theme so lets all think on what we got and come together to create a really strong lineup for next year.

I think so far I will be running; Thundarr the Barbarian, Waterworld (possibly, I said this out loud as a joke but many people seemed interested), an Unknown Armies end of days adventure, a steampunk end of days concept I already have.  I will run two more games but haven't set on ideas yet.  I may run a Diana: Warrior Princess RPG and blend the Waterworld concept into it. We shall see.

I can always name the Everyman Hero character 'Ash'. He works in housewares, and suddenly ZOMBIES EVERYWHERE!

Well Serenity goes without saying. Would be curious to see how a Fist of the North Star game would work. Umm... I can't really think of many other properties.
