I still kind of wish that some of the people who got tables would join the conversation. Maybe they would feel like sharing with someone XD

I feel the same, but they may just like having a full table to themselves for the extra space for all their merchandise, can't blame them if they do, but it would still be nice if some people were willing to share. Either way PortCon is bound to be awesome.

i've been keeping an eye on this thread to see what this little project is that arch and julie are working on for you guys. as for me being able to share space with you - i really can't as i only have a half spot :(

i feel like i can't say this without you guys thinking, "oh she doesn't care she has a spot!" but really guys, best of luck - it really sucks that you didn't get in :c!

I realized I never entered in to this discussion yet do to my hectic schedule.
Definitely not ignoring the issue though, even though I have a table I still check the forums regularly.

I have a full table, it's not a matter of wanting extra space but more of needing extra space. My display is organized around a full table but I'm doing something completely new from what I've done in the past, so I won't really know till after Anime Boston if I can spare half my table to share with another artist(which if I can I happily would).

Keeping my fingers crossed on this secret project. I have high hopes they'll figure something out. If they're were serious enough to screen artists then I like to think that they're taking the matter of finding more space for people just as serious. The idea alone that they're working to find more space shows that they really care

Very true, and don't worry about it. It's completely understandable if an artist needs a full table in order for them to display work. I've got my fingers crossed as well for this secret project, too X3

Aww thanks Leanomon, It's understandable if you guys use the full tables for display. I can't wait to see what they're coming up with either. Although, I'm not sure if it'll be extra spaces or what, they kind of already said that was out, so I don't know what they're planning.

It's kind of like a garage sale... but for the artist alley! The garage sale is so popular we kind of thought: hey, why not try it with the artist alley??

People will have to be nice and share, but it can help with the pain. And who knows- if it's big enough and popular enough maybe we'll try two tables or something in the future.

I will always keep an eye out for ways to help out different areas. If I could, I'd make the Wyndham twice as big and have an alley as big as the vendors room. I can dream. :)
