With the 10th year coming up, I was thinking people might like to get a taste of what PortConMaine was like back in 2002, its first year.  Here are the photos I shot.

Hah!  Those bring back some memories.  The Student Center was a GREAT way to start, but I'm so glad we made enough money to get a hotel the second year.

None.  PortConMaine's first year was at USM in 2002.

and wonderful it was. THANKS PATRICK! those pix bring back so many memories. And Sarah's White Mage robe is still getting used - it was onstage at Otakon in 2009. Makin' those puppies to last really worked out.

I still remember during the auction the exchange Julie and I had.


Julie: "And now becasue I know you all love Sailor Moon...."

Me: "Damn right!"


Later that year I bought out her entire collection of Sailor Moon fansubs she4 showed at the con.
