At the awards for the Masquerade the craftsmanship Judges said they would post their comments on the web sight since there was not the time for them to say what they would like. I was just wondering if they had been posted someplace, or still planing on posting them? I am always interested to hear what they have to say.

I was also wondering why some awards were not giving this year?  Best female and male for example. I always liked that Portcon gave out more and more fun awards. Sad to see this get cut.

The cut some awards as an experiment I heard..I was also told if we didnt like it to suggest that we have them back. if there are enough people who want them back maybe they will reinstate them.

The awards got cut to try to tone down the time it took to get them all out. It worked pretty well- this year EVERYONE saw the awards, as opposed to last year where by the time the awards were at the end we had maybe 15 people in the audience. It's something we're working on, for sure Smile

Mom should post her comments soon Smile

mom here. Just finished up with Jury Duty last night. So sorry, I should have posted a timeframe since I am usually faster. The judicial system in New Hampshire took priority this time. I am planning to get our comments posted by the end of this weekend. Thanks SO much to all the cosplayers who participated in craftsmanship. You folks just keep getting better and better.  Hug Thumb Up

Thanks. No rush, I just wanted to make sure I didn't miss them someplace else in the forum or if they got taken down with the new web sight going up.
Thanks again!

And now I've gotten sick. Must have picked up a bug from someone in the courtroom, cause that's the only place I've been besides the market. Give me a few more days, folks, because we like to do this right. On the upside, we were out of ginger ale and I remembered the bottle of curry ramune in the fridge that I brought back for the folks at home to sample. They are out of luck! Crying But my tummy feels better Smile. Anyway, soon as I am on the mend our comments will be up.

Sorry to bother again--but I haven't been by the web sight in a bit and noticed things are updated again. Did the comments get posted and I just missed it?

No bother EVER. Especially from a cosplayer. I feel terrible about this, but life at my house since Portcon has been really complicated. Had jury duty the first week after Con, and then got really sick. Got better finally, just in time to go down to Otakon with Sarah and her friends. Today was going to be my posting day, and I got a phone call on the road back from Baltimore yesterday afternoon. My brother-in-law down in Georgia passed away about 5 p.m. yesterday, and I am booking flights for me and my family. I still have all my paperwork and notes sitting right by my computer, and plan to do it as soon as I get back, probably not until August 14 or 15, since I don't get back here until the 10th and the 11th is my son's birthday. Again, I feel terrible letting all you wonderful competitors down like this. Next year I am bringing my laptop, and as soon as the auction is over on Saturday (I work that as well) the comments are goin' up! Hugs and deep appreciation to all of you. Thinking of all the wonderful costumers I meet every year makes me feel happy in these sad times. Thanks again and my apologies to all of you.
