The Cryx will consume all.  Just saying.

Of course I doubt I'll have time t play myself there, but I'm pretty sure we'll have planty of Warmachiney goodnesss.  We have in the past anyhow. ;)  And there's always a chance for an open table to play your friends.

I know when I was there in 07 there was some organized warmachine but I don't remember seeing any on the schedule or even in open play in 08 or 09.  I hope to see some of you warmachiners in the miniatures room at least for some pick up games.

Awesome, sounds like I'll have to bring my stuff then. I usually spend a decent amount of time in the miniatures room hope to see some of you around there.

Can I suggest one of you contact Amanda to run one scheduled game so that it will be on the roster again.  I don't know if we have anyone on the minis staff who is planning on running Warmachine this year.  Our main Warmachiner moved on.

What would be the best way to contact Amanda? Even if it's just a table for open play that would be great!

Hey everyone!

Sorry I've been a little absent from the forums, thanks Ian for pointing this out to me.

I already sent a pm to Thomas about Warhammer, but the basics are as such;

I'd be happy to host you guys.  If it's going to go on the schedule as a confirmed event, then I need you to pick a day/time block that you want to play and let me know.  I'd need a contact person who would volunteer to run the game/keep track of minis etc.

Here's the catch.  Having the game officially on the schedule means a confirmed time slot; however, if it's on the schedule, it needs to be open to any attendee that would like to watch/participate at the convention (we do limit slots to games as needed).  Younger kids may touch your stuff, or want to play.  If there are younger kids around, there will be parents, and thus language must be kept pg - pg13.  if you guys are willing to do that, then I'd be happy to schedule you in.  right now the schedule is pretty fluid so you could basically pick a time slot.

Any "open gaming" slots are welcome to be used (if we have any on the schedule this year) by players wishing to play pick up games, but those are first come first serve on the day of the con :)

Please pm me if you have any questions or comments about any of this....I'd love to have you guys in the room.

Thanks,

Amanda Zall

Sorry I didn't reply to your message but I'll reply here.  I have no problem with the game being open to anyone. I'm always looking forward to slaughtering new people!  I the time I would prefer to run it would be in the afternoon on Saturday.  If there is a time slot that runs from 2-6 that would be excellent. I think four hours would be enough to play a reasonable sized game.  I'm a bit light on the terrain side of things although I do have enough so I'd encourage players to bring a few pieces of their own.  This will be great!

Do you  need me to officially register for this?

I Just used the official form to sign up to run and open play event for Warmachine/Hordes, just to avoid any confusion.

I'll have to scrap my times I stated on my post above as I intend to Participate in the Cosplay.

The Con is closing in Don't forget to bring your Warmachine/Hordes for Friday from 11-3!  And also any terrain features you are particularly proud of as my own pool of terrain is reasonable but somewhat lacking.
