Band for the Dance? o.0

I've been listening to a band that would be great for a PCM dance. A lot of their song lyrics have to do with anime and video games, so it would fit in great.

Just a suggestion. I know a different topic said you don't put together playlists and such until March, but I though I'd put it out here, just because it was on my mind, and I know I'd forget before March. xP

I doubt for the dance..However the lead singer I saw at the con last year. As a regular attendee..so technically they already are there

the guest relations chair would be able to answer that better they should be putting info on howto suggest guests at some point  after the holidays

Hey there, Mick here in charge of the music for the dances. Thank you for the suggestion! Unfortunately we probably won't be having any bands performing at the dances for logistical reasons, but we'll see if we can't get it onto the playlist.

I understand your not wanting to forget your suggestion, so I can't blame you for that - but look for a thread sometime in the spring to take lots more requests for the dances.

Thank you for your suggestion. At PortCon we kind of have a tradition of a certain DJ DJ-ing the dances. It's something we've grown into, and something that has become part of our culture. For the time being, we're going to stick with Mick handling the DJing of both of our dances.

Thank you again for your guest suggestion. Next year we'll do a better job of having guest suggestion forms for non-guests to use online so it's less confusing. (Two forms, there's a thought! )
