T-Shirt ideas
« on: November 28, 2009, 09:27:43 PM »
So, it seems that a few of my friends and I will be having a booth in Artist's Alley this year, mostly selling T-shirts. Does anybody have any suggestions of things you'd want on a shirt?

Vampires are big this year, you can have vampire theme shirts. Also if you can get a printer you can buy some fabric prints at wal mart. So you can take a picture of the buyer and print it on there shirt, or if they want a specail saying or picture you can print that off to. And funny sayings about portcon too? This is cliche but "I went to portcon and all I got this shirt... and free hugs.'
It sounds like a great panel! I'll be looking forward to see it! Cha!

Well I had an idea for a vampire shirt, kind of a spoof on the whole craze: Dracula with the caption 'No, I don't sparkle."

I don't think we'll be able to get a printer and print stuff off, but thanks for your suggestions!  ^_^

Anything with spoofs of things i understand will prolly be purchased by me. Maybe you should do some video game spoofs, if you are familiar enough to come up with good ones. Sounds like a great idea, hope to see ya there

Yeah, hopefully things will come together in time.  :Drop: Thanks for the suggestion, I don't play too many video games, but one of my cohorts does. She should be able to come up with stuff.

you could do a shout-out to the con-DJ by making a DJ Kipz shirt lol (something like a mudkip with shades and headphones on)

maybe something that could be interperted in MANY ways like "I do it for the fangirls/fanboys"

i dont really know, just a couple thoughts lol

That's right, Portcon Security is run by a brony. Problem?

In my world of anime I've found there's a huge war between ninjas and pirates. I'd love to see a good ninja vs. pirates t-shirt~
Working on a Ty Lee Cosplay for this year... Any advice? PM me~ ^^

Unfortunately, one of us didn't hold up our agreement and so we are not going to be at artist's alley this year.  :(  But maybe someone else selling t-shirts will read this. ;D

Like me? :'D

Actually, I don't even know if I'm actually gonna do any t-shirts. I have the supplies and machine to do it, but I haven't really gotten the motivation to use it yet, what with school being in its last quarter and junior papers and whatnot ._.

Knarp, Knarp. :D Why don't you try to get a booth again THIS YEAR? But, I agree. Anything Pirate V. Ninja, Mudkip, or spoofies of anything well known will sell. Personally, I like anything that makes fun of Twilight, so the Dracula thing is funny to me. :D

Well, with me being staff this year, I won't have time to operate a booth.

AH. That makes sense. It would have been nice if you and Molly did have a booth last year, you guys would have made a killing. -Shrugs- Ah well, at least you're on Staff this year. :3
