Hopefully I'll be able to make it in this year.  Four years of working every weekend except PortCon and I finally have the whole winter to myself.

I'm thinking about it. >_> I might do a semester at sea or might just be really dumb and load up on all the chemistry, biology, and math classes I could possibly take (Gotta love my major) and just be so bogged down that I can't. But it's too far away for me to really know. Not sure if I'd like it because of how big it is. I've actually heard a lot of bad stuff about AB then good stuff. Guess I should just go check it out.

Those lines were fixed last year.  Longest wait to get through registration was the silly people who got there really early before the doors opened.  Those who came a little later had no real wait at all.

Yeah. We got a vendor to handle Registration last year (they were actually located only a few minutes away from me here in PA! It was great. As Asistant Director in 2009, I got to meet face-to face with these guys and help design the system.) Their name in Expo Logic, and they worked WONDERFULLY! From talking w/ Jackie (Reg Director...) looks like we will be using them again this year. So do not have nightmares about the Registration lines. At peak wait times (Opening in the morning Fri and Sat) people waited 90min/2hr tops, and at off-peak hours, people simply walked in and right out again this past year.

Of course there were still lines of people lining up ahead of time for events like concerts and cosplay, but you will ALWAYS have that. Everyone wants to get a good seat in Main Events!

Last year I walked right in, there was no line to speak of.  Got my badge within a minute with that auto scan thingy.
