Cosplay Picnic September version

hey everyone! I decided to start a thread on this now. I know everyone is all geared up for the one comeing up this weekend...but since i am not up in teh maine area till september...i wont be able to go. So ideas on places and such? I dont know the area at all to decide on a good place. Also was thinking of haveing a pot luck type deal, where everyone brings something ^_^

You know- if it's a potluck type deal we could set aside a room at WA for a monthly Cosplay Pot Luck. Then it could go through winter/spring when the weather's kind of ehhh for picnics. And in summer/fall there is a park down & across the street.

Would people like/enjoy that?

Huh. Well shoot! We should start doing Cosplay Pot Lucks, huh!

I'll work with Jenfuu and figure times out since this is her baby. And we'll make sure to have the whole dvd and back room open for it :)

if i could scrounge the money together i could make some pasta, with hamburger meat, pepperoni, sausage, and kielbasa all sauteed in some wine and cast iron with green peppers, onions, mushrooms, garlic, and habanero peppers simmering in the sauce :3

Pot Lucks would work well too- a lot less for me to worry about, organization wise. Just making sure the room is open and sitting down with Jen to plan some dates. So Jen! When you're in the area- let's get it going, yo!

And to be environmentally conscious- everyone bring their own plate and utensils. :) We have a sink you can wash with. Ooh! Exciting!

I'll either bring pasta or bread. Or something! And this gives me an excuse to work on some cosplays. :)
