World of Warcraft costumes
« on: July 21, 2009, 05:05:50 PM »
I'm headed out to BlizzCon in a month and hope to have a completed costume by then.  If I'm not in over my head and get it complete and don't give up and abandon it (like last year), then I will very likely bring it around to cons with me...including PortConMaine 2010.

I'd prefer not to say exactly what it is until it's near completion, but I will say that it's not a playable class.

Anyone else taking some costume inspiration from Azeroth?

o.O

I wish. I was considering doing a tauren outfit, then I realized I can't sew as well as I want to in order to do it well.

You made an awesome Cthulu.  You could definitely do a tauren too...and fur would cover up potential sewing issues that might show up on normal fabric.

The hard part would be the head...unless you bought that rubber tauren mask that some company produces.  (I don't recall the name of the company, but they were selling them at BlizzCon.  Not cheap.)

Wait, Patrick and Julie know Warcraft? *didn't see that coming.*

...I envy you. You're going to Blizzcon, lucky. D:

I have been contemplating Kael'thas though, if I was ever able to figure out how to go about doing that without having to spends hundreds of dollars I don't have.

Or maybe even Lady Vashj. That'd be fun. XD

I'm with anidex on this one, I'm greener than an irishman on St. Patty's Day (green with envy for those of you who don't get it)

a Demonhunter perhaps? Illidan or not, they're pretty fast. Sorry just trying to remember fast characters from the old warcraft games, warcraft 3 in particular XD

Security Co-chair

That's right, Portcon Security is run by a brony. Problem?

Perhaps I should have said "very fast". ;)

(in quotes because I'm actually quoting something)
