Cosplay for next year

I've decided to take on the task of making my own cosplay for the first time. I'm going to be doing Rosette from Chrono Crusade. I've also been thinking about doing someone from Dragon Ball, but I'm not sure yet ><

Grr, I don't know who to go as! My friend wants to go as a FF1 Black Mage so I might go as a Thief to partner her cosplay. Also thought about going as Dig Dug . Anyone have any other suggestions? Also would characters from the original Pokemon(1996) games count as Old School?

cardcaptor sakura. i'm thinking of doing the red dress from the opening, so for once someone will reconize me. i've gone as her for 4 years and goten a very minimal responce. most people cant figure it out, or think i'm someone else. i may be getting a group together too. although thats a long way off.

I'm planning of being the RED Engineer from Team Fortress 2. I will be in the quest in search of items for the outfit (namely the hardhat and tool belt).

As of now, I'll be going as Rhyme from TWEWY.  I've started making the accessories, as well as practicing painting the heart-skull/crossbones design that's on her shirt.

I may also be going as Jin from Persona 3, which will be my first attempt at crossplay.  I really just want an excuse to carry my Evoker again.

My third costume is likely to be Rena from Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, which should be interesting, because I've never sewn clothing before.  (My first thought was to make her white dress and then cover it in fake blood, but then I realized it would be a reeeaaalllyyy bad idea to go out in public like that. XD  So I'll just stick to toting around a bloody cleaver. :D)
