Heck, 'I'm on a boat' might as well be mainstream now.   :Drop:

Yep. If they play it at my school dances, it is definitely mainstream.

Well, I agree with the fact that the Rave this year was a blast!

In regards to music played, the rave itself is geared towards people dancing and enjoying themselves. Obviously not everyone can be pleased all the time, but all in all I have to say DJ Kips with a Z was crazy-great at pulling it together. That he did so with little to no time to work out the final kinks was damn amazing.

Also, some of the mainstream stuff almost scared me til I realised, it is more about just the dance and not the actual music (I know, some of you believe that to be heresy, but please, bear with it), to really enjoy myself.  Sometimes the music is just a background and a tempo to dance with. Pay closer looks to those around you, and let the music be nothing but a prop in the dance.

And my only complaint? Need more geek reference music!
