COSPLAY COURT CASE 2009 FEEDBACK!

I feel that this was a blast! We had a few problems with some people in the audience trying to force their way into the case (with no cosplay) however, I think we had a great case this year!

I have some big news regarding next year, but I'd like to wait until the forums change over to announce it. So please, if you know DO NOT MENTION IT. :3

I was a bit nervous at first, being in front of a large crowd, but I had ALOT of fun
Several people in the case (including myself) were thrown around, but I think the best one was Rorscach throwing Winston Payne over the table

I was completely confused by the end, but that's normal. XD The only issue I had with it was the excessive swearing and so on. I know you said that there would be swearing since it's improv and people can't always check themselves before saying something and that's perfectly fine. A few swears and such here and there is no problem at all. However, when every other word is an F-bomb, it just becomes annoying and not very funny. Overall, I loved the court case. I thought it might be made better if more of the witnesses could have been called and I'm sure they felt the same way.

But even with a few flaws, this was definitely one of the biggest high points of the convention. So many great moments! I wish I had signed up for it since my character would have been PERFECT for a defense witness for the Rorshach animal abuse case.

Thanks for the input on that. I usually swear like a PIRATE but I try to bite my tongue when doing improv. I'll keep this in mind for next year and try to mention to the participants to try and hold back a little. Thanks!

God, I had a great time at that case.  Everyone did a great job I think, F-Bombs or otherwise, and I do so love heckling you, dear CJ XD

I look forward to continuing to bugger around and make life difficult for the judge for years to come.

Even though I was just a witness I was worried about the case since acting has not always been my strong suit. I had a BLAST at this year's court case, it was a wonderful experience for me. Alice's interruption was pure epic and although by the end of the case I had NO idea what was going on, it was alot of fun.

omfg. I loved it. I loved it so hard.
It was really the only thing I enjoyed at Portcon this year.
I'm glad I was wearing a mask, I was having such a hard time keeping a strait face. XD

Hahaha. That's my sister. I guess I'm just *so* used to hearing her talk like that that it didn't seem out of place.
