What Zelda ending isn't predictable?  :P Link saved him a princess! Woo! If there's a princess there, he'll save her. If there's no princess to save, he will find a princess to save (or two!). Even if she doesn't need savin'. He's... the princess saver.

I didn't get the "shake wildly to attack" aspect of Twilight Princess. I played it on Gamecube. I still haven't played the Wii version yet.

Majora's Mask was all in all a great game, but the timed formula that had you constantly starting from square-one was a little tedious at times. The Fierce Diety mask made the final boss a joke, which somehow managed to disappoint me.

I'm interested to hear everybody else's beef with Twilight Princess. I hear a lot of people ragging on it without any explanation, here and all over the Internet. :P

Well, The ending being predictable. The ending wasn't like a normal Zelda game.

possible spoilers for a 3 year old game

Zelda isn't Link's Love interest. He doesn't really even Like Zelda. It was very Clear from the beginning that MIDNA was the center of the story. Also, the dungeons seemed to be almost carbon copies of OOT. I don't know. I didn't like that.
Shake wildly to attack = How to beat everything when using wolf.

now, my defense of Majora's Mask.
Majora's mask is an incredibly technical game. It pushed limits (It had a RIDICULOUS amount of characters, tracking what everyone did etc) using just the expansion pack for the n64. Not only that, but with the side quests It really is the longest and most 'interesting' zelda, as it ISN'T Just about Link going to save a princess.
hell, there isn't even a princess. So either way. And people complaining about the time thing seems pretty baseless to me. It was interesting and innovative at the time. It's just a time limit. Once you beat bosses, or got new masks, it all got saved, so it wasn't like you 'Lost everything'. The only real thing that reset were the people. It was also a great way of keeping the story paced well. I mean, there is no way to do Kafei's quest WITHOUT that kind of thing. The moon was crashing- thats what made it so great. without having the actual event happen, one of the most touching events in gaming could never have happened.

Overall, TP had polish but lacked depth. That is what I disliked.
Gettin' too old for this.

Good call about the lack of princess in Majora's Mask. ;)

(More spoilers about old-ish games to follow?)

I usually play through a Zelda game figuring that Link doesn't fall in love with anybody. I do like the ambiguity of the series in this respect. It's not saying, "You are so in love with this person look at you two isn't that great?" I guess I was slow with the Twilight Princess Midna thing. In the beginning of the game, I thought she was just some kind of toolbox and hated her. I figured she was an imp answer to Navi or something. It took me a little while to catch on about who she was, admittedly. ;)

They already released both volumes that make up the OoT story. Now we're patiently waiting for the Majora's Mask one.

Wow;; I love LoZ games. They're doing so many thing with them.

But I will always leave the biggest place in my heart for OoT. I played it when I was like little and I've just always loved it. Beyond the crap graphics. xD

So, back on topic here. Trains. I'm a sap for anything Zelda, so I'll probably pick this one up. Like them or hate them, there are very few Zelda titles that you could actually call BAD (COUGH COUGH AHEM CD-i). Most of them are fun at the very least. They're some of the few games that bypass my extremely short attention span.

So, Trains. Sure there's a chance that it'll just be shovelware, pooped out for an extra buck for Mr. Miyamoto. It might just be a rehash of the steamboat customization. But hey, at least we won't be fishing for heart pieces anymore.

Yeah I have to say - every LoZ (( they should just call it Legend of Link so I can say LoL haha! )) Ahem, anyway...

Every LoZ game I've played has been fun - and usually a bit challenging. This one looks good as well and I will most certainly get it. ^__^
