This deserves a mention. These folks have been working for years on a feature-length film loosely based on The Ocarina of Time. After 2 or 3 years of post-production it's finally going to be released. All they've talked about are the premiers at theatres across the country, but there are plans for DVD releases sometime. Not sure if it'll be in time for the con, but it'd be neat.

That particular trailer that IGN did a while back wasn't for <i>Hero of Time</i>. So it's still... kind of an April Fools' joke.

I was kind of sad that we don't have any theaters around here showing the film. I'll definitely keep an eye out for a DVD release, though. I've been watching this project for a good while, now.

Though, I will agree that one of the strongest points of the video game series is that Link does not talk.

I think that I read somewhere that you like to make AMVs, RoseRiku. Are you arguing that your craft is somehow more worthy than a fan production like this? It looks to me that this is at very least a great exercise in cinematography and post-production.

I was disappointed because everyone was talking about it and I was like "OH COOL! A ZELDA MOVIE YAY!!!!!!!" and then I saw the trailer and I was like... -.-

I didn't know it was fan-based until I saw the site (which hasn't been working well for me lately - has it been working for anyone else?)

I am going to get the DVD tho. If there is one.

Link talking? Mreh. It's a necessary evil. Imagine how retarded it would be if he just ignored every question and stared like a moron. I kinda just hope it's subtle. If he goes off on a five-minute rant to Ganondorf, I'll probably sh** bricks and throw them at the screen. Luckily, the creators seem to be big fans of the series, and they've been working their butts off on it. So I'm praying for a modicum of tact and trying my hardest not to hate it before I see it.

I was hoping (but I doubt it) that maybe there will be some humor thrown in there. It would help me like the movie better as much as I'll feel weird watching it.
