Death Note which do you like most?

I have seen both the movie and the anime;working on the manga so im not finished it yet.I was just thinking though of how much different the movie and the anime is;so far the manga isnt really different from the anime except for a couple minor things.
So at this time me personally like the movie best;still need to see that L movie thats somewhere in existance;i love L as you can tell with my new avatar haha.I was gonna put the movie because i like the ending hehe if the anime had that ending id so love it!! Because to me Near and Mellow are like L split into 2.
But i do have to still go anime because it gives alot more of the story,the movie tries but they would need a couple/few more to get the anime length,though itd still be a bit anyway because it would cut near and mellow out so im not sure.

How about you? Which do you prefer?

I've seen all three. They all have their pros and cons, but I'd have to go with manga. Why? Source material, baby.

movie = meh
anime = only paid attention b/c Naitomea did the opening theme for the first few episodes
manga = better than anything mentioned before. What truly got me hooked.

So yes, my vote is for the Manga. I still remember flipping through the first volume when they were only up to vol. 3. ahhh, good times

The movies were alright...

The anime and manga were both similar, although I'd have to say I liked the anime more because the manga's just people sitting around talking and the anime at least has some action and color to spice it up. Plus the openings are cool.

i have seen some of the anime episodes and i have liked them.  i also saw both of the movies and i will admit i liked those as well.

only seen one movie. thought it was okay; although to me the animes are much cooler.

the mangas are what i first liked... but animes just provide less work for me - and color and voice is added as a bonus. xD

The anime is freaking beautiful.
Seriously. Try watching a serialized anime that looks better than Deathnote. It's top notch stuff, Animationwise. It rivals Code Geass.

While we're talking about death note here, whos going to go and see "L: Change the worLd"? I know it's playing in Lowell, Mass. because i'm going to see it there. It's playing April 29th and 30th.
The 29th is subbed, and the 30th is dubbed.

I actually haven't finished watching the anime. They're re-running the series on Adult Swim, so yeah. But I saw the first two movies and, while I dislike Rem's Voice Actor in the movie a little bit, the series had the ending that was more believable to the plot.
